Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.

NeatScore is an app that cleaning and janitorial companies use to inspect the buildings they clean, score them, and share reports with their clients. This policy explains what information NeatScore collects, why, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible
NeatScore is operated by the NeatScore team (“we”). Each cleaning company that uses NeatScore controls the data it enters about its own staff, clients and sites. If your employer or service provider invited you, you can also contact them about your data.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us).
- Company and role: the company you belong to, your role (owner, manager, inspector, cleaner or client) and the sites you can access.
- Company details: company name, address, phone, email, website and logo, if an owner adds them.
- Site and inspection data: building names, addresses, floors and areas; inspection scores, notes, dates and the name of the inspector.
- Photos: photos inspectors take or choose during inspections. We only access your camera or photo library when you tap the photo button.
- Billing details: if you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details directly. We receive confirmation of payment and your company name — never your card number.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and NeatScore contains no ads.
How we use it
- To run the app: sign you in, show the right sites and reports, and save inspections.
- To create inspection reports and dashboards for your company and its clients.
- To process subscription payments and provide support.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
- People in your company, based on their role. Clients only see reports for the sites they have been given access to.
- Google Firebase (Google LLC), which hosts NeatScore's database, file storage and sign-in. Data is stored on Google servers in the United States.
- Stripe, our payment processor, for subscription billing.
- Anyone you choose to send a PDF report to.
- Authorities, if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep data while the company's account is active. Submitted inspection reports are business records of the cleaning company and are kept until that company deletes them or closes its account.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: open the menu, choose My account, then Delete my account. This removes your login and profile. If you are a company owner, it also deletes the company and all of its sites, templates, inspections and photos. Inspection reports you submitted for another company remain part of that company's records.

Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and protected by access rules so that each company can only reach its own data.
Children
NeatScore is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under Canada's PIPEDA), you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information. Contact us below and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be announced to account owners by email.
